Duties
Lead and supervise the entire kitchen staff, including chefs, cooks, and kitchen assistants, fostering a positive and productive work environment
Develop and refine menus that highlight creativity, seasonality, and customer preferences while maintaining profitability
Oversee food production processes, ensuring high-quality food preparation and presentation in line with established standards
Manage inventory control and food safety compliance, including ordering supplies, minimizing waste, and adhering to health regulations
Implement shift management procedures to optimize staffing levels and operational efficiency during busy periods
Monitor kitchen operations continuously to uphold food safety standards, hygiene practices, and proper handling of ingredients
Qualifications
Extensive culinary experience with a strong background in similar establishments and catering services
Proven supervising experience leading diverse kitchen teams in high-volume settings
Demonstrated expertise in menu planning, food production, and kitchen management
Strong knowledge of dietary department protocols and food safety regulations
Experience with inventory management, cost control, and food handling procedures
Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams and foster collaboration
Familiarity with shift management, and restaurant operations is highly desirable
Ability to thrive under pressure while maintaining attention to detail and quality standards
