You Me Sushi - Head Chef - Greenwich - 15-16ph

Founded in 2008, You Me Sushi has been winning the hearts of Londoners thanks to its varying menu concept that is perfectly combined with a fresh and unique approach to Japanese cuisine.

From our first sushi takeaway store in London's Marylebone district, You Me Sushi has gone from strength to strength serving fresh, delicious, and handmade sushi every day. Due to expansion of the business, we are looking for Head Sushi Chefs for our store in Muswell Hill.

Who are we looking for?

We are looking for a Head Sushi Chef skilled in handmade rolls, ready to join our growing family. You will need to be passionate about food and customer service and a great team player. We are looking for someone organised who can work well under pressure and lead the kitchen team. Great sense of humour and good energy is the key.

You will need to be flexible as this role requires working weekends and late evenings.

The right sushi chef must have:

Min 1 year of head sushi chef experience within the hospitality sector (preferably restaurant/grab-and-go). Experience in a fast-paced environment. Be able to follow recipes and create dishes according to specification. Familiar with Health & Safety standards and Food Hygiene Familiar with day-to day duties including preparing produce including fresh fish, making sushi, operating fryers, monitoring cooking processes, assembling dishes etc. Able to maintain a clean and organised work area at all times. Able to work within a team, as well as independently. Able to lead the kitchen team.
