Your Role:

HEAD CHEF-

The Ship is now looking for a passionate and experienced head chef to lead the kitchen team.

Your Requirements:

The primary responsibility of the Head Chef is the preparation and delivery of all food items according to specifications and time limits. Our Head Chefs must be able to lead a team positively, manage kitchen pressures in a professional manner, develop and follow all recipes, portion control and maintain presentation specifications while coordinating the delivery, storage and food safety standards within the kitchen. Managing budgets, cleaning, controlling allergens and record keeping is also of key importance.

As a Chef we would love you to have:

- Previous experience working as a Head chef in a similar high end pub environment.

- Experience working with a similar cuisine, this being modern and nostalgic pub style dishes.

- Great English language communication skills with a willingness to learn

- Ability to write, maintain and follow recipes, processes and standards

- Drive and ambition with a desire to learn and grow within the team

- Full ownership in your role

- Ability to work alone or lead a team from the front and maintain a safe working environment

- Understand labour budgets, food margins and P&L accounts

All of our kitchens are well maintained, regular investment is made in each of our venues to develop our offer.

Pay: From 40,000.00 per year
