Responsibilities
Lead and manage the kitchen team, providing guidance and support to ensure efficient food production.
Develop and implement innovative menus that reflect current culinary trends while maintaining the restaurant's identity.
Oversee food preparation processes to ensure consistency in taste, presentation, and quality.
Maintain high standards of hygiene and cleanliness in accordance with health and safety regulations.
Train and supervise kitchen staff, fostering their professional development and enhancing their culinary skills.
Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service delivery and guest satisfaction.
Monitor inventory levels, order supplies as needed, and manage food costs effectively.
Assist in creating a positive working environment that encourages teamwork and creativity.
Requirements
Proven experience as a Head Chef or in a similar culinary leadership role within the hospitality industry.
Strong knowledge of food production techniques, menu planning, and kitchen management.
Excellent culinary skills with a passion for food preparation and presentation.
Demonstrated leadership abilities with experience in supervising kitchen staff.
Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and front-of-house staff.
A relevant culinary qualification is preferred but not essential.
