Head Chef Herb Garden

Whitehall Garden Centre is a family run and award winning business.
We are looking for a Head Chef to lead our catering team in our Herb Garden Restaurant. This is a fabulous opportunity for any experienced head chef or ambitious senior sous offering straight shifts, no evenings.
To work 4 days during the week plus alternate weekends, with the added benefit of having Christmas Day, Boxing Day and Easter Sunday off.
As a Head Chef you will:
Be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the kitchen
Be managing and motivating a professional brigade
Ensure that ongoing training and development is offered to all members of the team
Possess excellent man management and kitchen management skills
Be a creative and talented chef who can lead their team by example and inspire them
Manage stock, assist in menu creation and have experience in costings
Ensure the highest possible standard of hygiene is practiced and maintained to meet Health & Safety regulations and food preparation guidelines
