Overview


We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head Chef to lead our team. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership qualities, extensive culinary expertise, and a passion for delivering exceptional dining experiences.

This role involves overseeing all aspects of food preparation, kitchen management, and ensuring the highest standards of food safety and quality are maintained. The Head Chef will play a pivotal role in supervising kitchen staff, and maintaining a vibrant, efficient, and welcoming environment for both staff and guests.

Responsibilities



Lead and supervise the entire kitchen team, including chefs, cooks, and kitchen assistants Oversee food production processes to ensure consistency, presentation, and quality standards are met Develop innovative menus in collaboration with management that reflect current culinary trends and customer preferences Manage food safety protocols in compliance with health regulations and company policies Coordinate daily kitchen operations to ensure timely preparation and service of dishes Train, mentor, and motivate staff to enhance their skills and performance Monitor inventory levels, order supplies, and control food costs effectively Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen environment at all times Ensure adherence to all health and safety regulations within the kitchen setting Serve as a key point of contact for customer feedback regarding food quality

Qualifications



Proven supervising experience within a professional kitchen environment Extensive culinary experience with a strong background in food preparation and cooking techniques Demonstrated team management skills with the ability to lead and inspire staff Solid understanding of food safety standards and regulations Previous experience working in a restaurant or hospitality setting is highly desirable Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: 37,500.00-40,000.00 per year
