Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Head Chef to lead our kitchen team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in culinary arts, with a focus on food production and preparation. Responsibilities

Supervise and manage kitchen staff, ensuring efficient food production and service. Oversee food preparation processes to maintain high standards of quality and safety. Develop innovative menus that reflect seasonal ingredients and customer preferences. Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain cleanliness in the kitchen. Train and mentor kitchen staff in cooking techniques, food safety practices, and hospitality standards. Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service delivery. Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed. Maintain a positive work environment that encourages teamwork and professional growth.

Experience

Proven experience as a Head Chef or in a similar role within the restaurant industry. Strong culinary experience with a deep understanding of food preparation and cooking techniques. Demonstrated supervisory experience with the ability to lead and motivate a team effectively. Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in the kitchen. Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. A passion for hospitality and delivering exceptional dining experiences. Previous experience in menu planning, cost control, and inventory management is advantageous.
