Salary: 45,000 plus Accommodation provided

We're working with one of Inverness' most stylish hotels to recruit a Head Chef for its flagship restaurant. This property opened in late 2022 and has quickly become a go-to destination for travellers and locals alike.
The hotel boasts contemporary architecture, a 191-room layout, and a riverside terrace overlooking the water. Its restaurant is known for tapas, small plates and cocktails, with a buzzing terrace that draws both hotel guests and locals.

The venue

• Modern four-storey hotel with 191 bedrooms, lounge, cocktail bar and terrace
• 100-cover main restaurant with outdoor seating

• Well-equipped kitchen team of 12 including a Sous Chef reporting to you
• Part of a larger hospitality group with career opportunities across Europe

The role

• Lead the kitchen and oversee all menus across restaurant, lounge and terrace
• Manage a team of 12 kitchen professionals including a Sous Chef
• Deliver all-day dining, tapas and group catering at high standards
• Control costs, ordering, stock and hygiene for a 7-day operation
• Work closely with the General Manager to develop seasonal and creative offerings
• 40-hour contract with weekend and shift work

We're looking for

• Current Head Chef who has hotel and restaurant Experience
• Experience in high-volume, seasonal operations
• Confident with all-day menus, tapas, small plates and group catering
• A natural leader who motivates, develops and retains staff
• Hands-on approach with strong organisational and costing skills
