As a Head Chef with The Lattice House Bar & Grill, you'll work with a great team with food quality and service as a number one priority. You'll ensure the kitchen runs smoothly and is to an exceptional health and hygiene standard. With assistance from a Sous Chef, it will be your responsibility to ensure everything is prepped and kitchen staff are where they need to be at the appropriate times. As a cosy tavern in the centre of town we will be providing an outstanding Carvery at least once a week so we would love a Head Chef that can make mean a Yorkshire pudding.
Responsibilities:
Lead and supervise the kitchen and kitchen team to an exceptional standard.
Create consistently outstanding meals.
Be aware and adhere to different allergen requirements.
Set the standard and maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen, adhering to health and safety regulations.
Carry out prep work to ensure all meals are sent out in a timely manner.
Stock control to minimise wastage.
Work successfully and liaise with the front of house team.
Requirements:
Minimum of two years experience in a fast-paced kitchen.
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced setting.
Excellent knowledge of culinary techniques, food preparation and kitchen management practices.
Strong leadership skills whilst still being able to work collaboratively with all members of the team.
Great knowledge of hospitality standards and commitment to delivering exceptional customer service.
