We are seeking an experienced and passionate Head Chef to lead our culinary team. Duties
Supervise and manage the entire kitchen team, including chefs, cooks, and kitchen assistants
Oversee food production to ensure consistency, quality, and presentation standards are met
Develop innovative menus in collaboration with management that reflect current trends and customer preferences
Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain high standards of hygiene and cleanliness
Coordinate food preparation activities to optimise efficiency during service hours
Monitor inventory levels, order supplies, and manage stock control to minimise waste
Train and mentor staff to enhance their skills and promote a positive team environment
Oversee the organisation of catering events or special functions as required
Maintain a professional kitchen environment that adheres to health and safety protocols at all times
Skills
Proven supervising experience within a busy culinary setting
Extensive food production knowledge with expertise in food preparation and cooking techniques
Strong team management skills with the ability to motivate staff and foster teamwork
In-depth understanding of food safety standards and regulations
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently
Previous restaurant or hospitality experience demonstrating leadership in a fast-paced environment
