The Opportunity
We're on the lookout for a passionate and committed
Head Chef
to lead our kitchen team full-time on-site in Lanark. This is a hands-on role, ideally suited to someone who thrives in the heart of the kitchen rather than behind a desk. You'll be involved in every element of the operation, from leading the team and managing day-to-day tasks to crafting and preparing dishes.
We're seeking a strong yet patient leader--someone who values teamwork, takes pride in nurturing talent, and understands that building a reliable, skilled kitchen crew takes time. Menu planning will be a key part of your role, and you'll need to strike a balance between quality and achievability, ensuring the menu plays to the team's strengths without overwhelming them.
This isn't about high-end fine dining. It's about creating satisfying, wholesome meals with consistency, care, and attention to detail--all while maintaining the highest standards in food hygiene and safety. If you're motivated by leading from the front and creating great food alongside your team, we'd love to hear from you.
