Job Overview


We are seeking an experienced and passionate Head Chef to lead our kitchen team. The successful candidate will oversee all aspects of kitchen operations, ensuring the delivery of high-quality food and exceptional service. This role requires strong leadership, creativity, and a comprehensive understanding of food safety standards. The Head Chef will be responsible for menu development, supervising kitchen staff, and maintaining a motivated and efficient kitchen environment. Responsibilities



Lead and manage the kitchen team, providing guidance, training, and supervision to ensure smooth daily operations Develop innovative menus that align to the brand Oversee food preparation, cooking, and presentation to meet quality standards Ensure all food safety regulations and hygiene standards are strictly adhered to Manage stock, order supplies, and control food costs effectively Supervise food production processes to optimise efficiency and minimise waste Coordinate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service delivery Maintain a clean, organised, and safe working environment at all times Monitor staff performance and provide ongoing coaching to foster a motivated and productive team

Requirements



Proven supervising experience within a busy kitchen Extensive experience in food production, preparation, and cooking techniques Strong team management skills with the ability to lead by example and inspire others Comprehensive knowledge of food safety standards and regulations Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently Demonstrated leadership qualities with a focus on fostering teamwork and professional development Previous experience at AA rosette level is preferable

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: 55,000.00-60,000.00 per year
