We are seeking a passionate and skilled Chef to join our culinary team. As a Chef, you will lead the kitchen staff in preparing delicious meals while ensuring that all kitchen operations run smoothly. Duties
Oversee the daily operations of the kitchen, ensuring efficient food preparation and presentation.
Lead and manage kitchen staff, providing guidance and support to foster a collaborative team environment.
Develop and create innovative menus that reflect seasonal ingredients and current culinary trends.
Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain high standards of cleanliness in the kitchen.
Monitor inventory levels, order supplies, and manage food costs effectively.
Train new kitchen staff on cooking techniques, food preparation methods, and safety protocols.
Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service during busy periods.
Assist in the preparation of meals during peak hours while maintaining quality standards.
Qualifications
Proven experience as a Chef or in a similar culinary role within the hospitality industry.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team.
In-depth knowledge of food production techniques and culinary practices.
Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices in food handling.
Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail in both cooking and presentation.
Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
A passion for cooking and creating memorable dining experiences for guests.
Culinary qualifications or certifications are desirable but not essential.
