Head Chef
About the Role:
We are looking for a skilled and passionate Head Chef to lead our kitchen team in delivering outstanding culinary experiences. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in food preparation and production, a deep commitment to food safety, and excellent leadership skills. As Head Chef, you will supervise all kitchen operations, ensuring that every dish meets the Black Tao standards for quality and presentation. You will inspire and guide a team of culinary professionals in a lively, fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead, supervise, and motivate kitchen staff, fostering strong teamwork and collaboration.
Oversee food preparation and production, ensuring consistent quality and impeccable presentation of every dish.
Develop creative and innovative menu items that capture current culinary trends and satisfy guest preferences.
Maintain strict compliance with food safety regulations; keep the kitchen clean, organised, and efficient.
Train and mentor staff in culinary techniques, kitchen procedures, and best food safety practices.
Work closely with front-of-house management to ensure smooth, coordinated service for guests.
Track inventory and assist with supply orders to support seamless kitchen operations.
Required Experience:
Proven experience as a Head Chef or in a similar senior kitchen leadership role within the hospitality sector.
Deep understanding of food production, food safety guidelines, and kitchen operations.
Exceptional organisational and multitasking abilities, especially in high-pressure settings.
Demonstrated ability to lead, train, and inspire a kitchen team in a busy environment.
Genuine passion for culinary arts, with creativity for new menu development.

Pay: 40,000.00-47,000.00 per year
