Key Responsibilities:
Team Leadership:
Inspire, mentor and manage the kitchen team, fostering a collaborative and efficient environment.
Kitchen Operations:
Create detailed prep lists to ensure smooth day-to-day operations - follow and maintain recipes and presentation standards - Safely and efficiently operate standard kitchen equipment.
Food Cost Management:
Monitor and control food cost to optimize profitability without compromising quality.
Standards and Compliance:
Maintain impeccable standards for food storage, rotation, quality and appearance - ensure strict compliance with health codes and safety regulations.
What we are looking for:
Strong leadership and managerial skills with experience leading diverse teams across the kitchen spectrum, may it be Pastries, Cold or hot dishes.
Culinary creativity and a commitment to excellence in both flavour and presentation.
Solid understanding of food cost management and kitchen efficiency.
A proactive and detail oriented approach to maintaining hygiene and operational standards.
Strong leadership abilities with experience in supervising and managing a team.
Ability to work under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
Strong organisational skills to manage multiple tasks effectively.
Excellent communication skills to liaise with team members and other departments.
