Job Description

We are seeking a talented and experienced chef to join our newly formed kitchen team. As a Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing food preparation and production, ensuring high standards of quality and presentation in every dish served. You will play a pivotal role in creating a positive dining experience for our guests while managing kitchen operations effectively.

Responsibilities

Oversee food preparation and production processes, ensuring adherence to health and safety regulations. Help with managing inventory, ordering supplies, and minimising waste to maintain cost-effectiveness. Ensure all dishes are prepared to the highest standards of quality, taste, and presentation. Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service during busy periods. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area in compliance with hygiene standards.

Experience

Proven experience as a Chef in a restaurant or hospitality setting is essential. Strong culinary skills with a deep understanding of food preparation techniques and kitchen operations. Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. A passion for food, creativity in menu development, and a commitment to delivering outstanding dining experiences. Knowledge of health and safety regulations within the culinary industry is highly desirable.
Pay is negotiable dependent on experience, commission also attainable.
