We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head Chef to lead our culinary team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of food preparation, kitchen operations, and team management within our establishment. Responsibilities
Lead and supervise the kitchen team to ensure efficient food production and service delivery.
Oversee menu development, ensuring dishes meet quality standards and reflect current culinary trends.
Manage food preparation processes, ensuring consistency, presentation, and adherence to recipes.
Maintain strict compliance with food safety and hygiene regulations at all times.
Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely procurement of ingredients and kitchen supplies.
Monitor stock levels and control waste to optimise operational efficiency.
Provide training and mentorship to junior staff, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
Ensure the smooth running of kitchen operations during service hours, including overseeing cooking and serving processes.
Uphold high standards of hospitality, ensuring guests receive excellent service experience.
Experience
Proven supervisory experience within a professional kitchen environment.
Extensive background in food production, cooking, and food preparation across diverse cuisines.
Demonstrable team management skills with the ability to lead and motivate staff effectively.
Strong knowledge of food safety standards and regulations applicable within the hospitality industry.
Previous experience working in a restaurant or similar hospitality setting is essential.
Familiarity with restaurant operations, including serving procedures and customer service excellence.
Experience in menu planning, food presentation, and maintaining high-quality culinary standards is highly desirable.
