As the Head Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing all kitchen operations, ensuring that our dishes not only meet but exceed our guests' expectations. Duties
Lead and manage the kitchen team, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
Oversee food preparation and production processes, ensuring consistency in quality and presentation.
Maintain strict adherence to food safety regulations and hygiene standards within the kitchen.
Train, mentor, and develop kitchen staff, promoting skill enhancement and professional growth.
Manage inventory levels, ordering supplies as needed while minimising waste.
Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service and guest satisfaction.
Monitor kitchen performance metrics, implementing improvements where necessary to enhance efficiency.
Qualifications
Proven experience as a Head Chef or in a similar leadership role within a restaurant or hospitality setting.
Strong culinary skills with a comprehensive understanding of various cooking techniques and cuisines.
Excellent team management abilities with a focus on fostering a supportive and productive kitchen culture.
Knowledge of food safety standards and regulations is essential.
Exceptional organisational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
A passion for food production and creativity in menu design is highly desirable.
Strong communication skills to effectively liaise with both kitchen staff and front-of-house teams.
