Responsibilities

Oversee all kitchen operations, ensuring efficient food production and service. Supervise and train kitchen staff, fostering a collaborative and positive team atmosphere. Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain high hygiene standards throughout the kitchen. Manage inventory, ordering supplies, and minimising waste to optimise kitchen efficiency. Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service delivery. Monitor food presentation and quality, making adjustments as necessary to maintain standards. Handle any customer feedback or complaints regarding food quality or service.

Experience

Significant experience in a professional kitchen environment, preferably in a leadership role. Proven track record of supervising and managing teams within the hospitality sector. Strong culinary skills with extensive knowledge of food preparation techniques and cooking methods. Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices in the kitchen. Previous experience in menu development and cost control is advantageous. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire team members.
