We are looking for an inspiring Head Chef to lead our team of talented chefs at our premier restaurant. Our Head Chef should demonstrate an aptitude for creating dishes that are both delicious and innovative, should be passionate and creative when it comes to preparing food. A successful candidate will have previous experience running a restaurant kitchen, as well as strong planning and organizational skills, and the ability to handle stressful situations when necessary. They will have extensive experience managing a busy culinary team and creating and implementing a delicious, innovative menu.
Responsibilities:
Maintain a considerate and empathetic attitude toward coworkers and guests.
Ensure the kitchen is clean, safe, and well stocked at all times.
Ensure recipe adherence and quality standards are met.
Organize work in a timely manner.
React to both guest and coworker needs quickly and efficiently.
Communicate effectively with co-workers, supervisors, and guests.
Respond to any issues that arise in a calm manner.
Enlist the help of kitchen staff when needed.
