Head Chef - New Fresh Led Pub

Location:

Flintham, Nottinghamshire (10 mins from Newark, 20 mins from Nottingham)

Salary:

From 35000 per annum (OTE: 40k-42k)

Head Chef

to lead the kitchen at our brand new fresh produce pub in

Flintham

.

We produce great locally sourced food with world twists and pride ourselves in doing things a little differently. Along with our weekly menus we, offer our customers bespoke tasting evenings were we showcase the best wines and spirits pairing them with dishes created by our kitchen team, with our most recent being an Uruguayan inspired evening.

Our venue also has an incredible garden area with plans to host varied events over the summer months.

This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a growing, high-quality food-led pub.

The Role

As Head Chef, you will:

Work closely with our

Executive Chef

to deliver menus designed across our group. Take ownership of

daily specials, desserts, garden and tasting menus

created on site. Lead, train and inspire your kitchen team. Maintain high standards of food quality, consistency and presentation. Manage stock, ordering, GP and kitchen costs. Ensure full compliance with food safety and hygiene standards.
About You

We're looking for someone who:

Has

previous experience as a Head Chef or strong Sous Chef ready to step up

. Has a genuine passion for

fresh, seasonal produce

. Can provide

references from previous roles

. Is organised, motivated and thrives in a high-quality food environment. Is a strong leader with excellent communication skills. Has a full clean driving licence Experience of costings and working within set gross profit guides
