Responsibilities



Lead the development and execution of innovative menus that reflect current culinary trends and customer preferences, ensuring consistency and quality in every plate. Supervise daily kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, plating, and presentation, maintaining high standards of food safety and hygiene. Manage inventory control and food management processes to minimize waste, optimize stock levels, and ensure cost-effective purchasing. Oversee dietary department requirements to accommodate special dietary needs while maintaining flavor integrity and presentation standards. Coordinate catering events, banquets, and large-scale food production with precision and professionalism. Supervise and mentor kitchen staff, fostering a positive team environment through effective leadership, training, and shift management. Ensure compliance with all health regulations, safety procedures, and food handling standards across the kitchen. Collaborate with restaurant management on menu planning, pricing strategies, and service flow to enhance overall guest satisfaction.

Skills



Extensive culinary experience with a strong background in fine dining environments. Proven supervising experience within busy restaurant or catering settings. Knowledge of banquet service operations and large-scale food production. Expertise in inventory management, control procedures, and food cost analysis. Strong leadership abilities with excellent team management skills to motivate staff effectively. Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices in food handling. Experience in menu planning, kitchen management, and shift coordination. Skilled in food preparation techniques across various cuisines; bartending knowledge is a plus for beverage pairing. Ability to thrive under pressure while maintaining attention to detail in a fast-paced hospitality setting.
