We are seeking an experienced and creative Chef to join our team. As a Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our kitchen, ensuring the highest quality of food production and maintaining a positive and efficient work environment. Duties:
- Supervise and coordinate all activities in the kitchen, including food preparation, cooking, and plating
- Develop and create new menu items, taking into consideration dietary restrictions and customer preferences
- Ensure that all food is prepared in accordance with health and safety regulations
- Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed
- Train and mentor kitchen staff on proper cooking techniques and safety procedures
- Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure smooth service and customer satisfaction
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment
- Oversee the maintenance and operation of kitchen equipment
Experience:
- Proven experience working in a restaurant or culinary environment
- Strong knowledge of food production techniques and culinary trends
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to effectively manage a team
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
- Knowledge of hospitality industry standards and best practices
