Responsibilities:
- Oversee all aspects of food production and kitchen operations
- Create and develop innovative and delicious menu items
- Ensure high-quality food preparation and presentation
- Manage inventory and control food costs
- Train and supervise kitchen staff, including scheduling and performance evaluations
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment
- Adhere to all food safety and sanitation regulations
- Collaborate with restaurant management to develop seasonal menus and specials
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and culinary techniques
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a Head Chef or in a similar leadership role
- Strong knowledge of hospitality, restaurant, and culinary industry practices
- Excellent culinary skills, including food preparation, cooking techniques, and flavor combinations
- Proven leadership abilities with the ability to effectively manage a team
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with staff, management, and customers
