Duties

Oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring efficient food preparation and service. Supervise and train kitchen staff, promoting teamwork and professional development. Develop and implement menus that reflect seasonal ingredients and customer preferences. Maintain high standards of food safety and hygiene in accordance with regulations. Manage inventory, including ordering supplies and minimising waste. Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service delivery. Monitor food production processes to maintain quality control. Create a positive working environment that encourages creativity and innovation in the kitchen.

Experience

Proven experience as a Head Chef or in a similar culinary leadership role within a restaurant setting. Strong background in food preparation, cooking techniques, and kitchen management. Demonstrated ability to lead a team effectively while fostering a culture of collaboration. In-depth knowledge of food safety practices and regulations. Previous experience in hospitality is essential, with a focus on delivering exceptional customer service. Culinary qualifications or certifications are advantageous but not mandatory.
