As Head Chef, you will oversee food preparation, ensure high standards of food safety, and deliver exceptional dining experiences for our guests. Responsibilities



Lead and supervise the kitchen team, ensuring efficient workflow and high-quality food production Oversee all aspects of food preparation, presentation, and service to meet established standards Develop innovative menus that reflect current culinary trends and customer preferences Manage inventory, order supplies, and control food costs to optimise profitability Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain cleanliness standards across the kitchen Train and mentor junior staff, fostering a positive team environment centred on hospitality excellence Collaborate with management on operational improvements and customer service initiatives Monitor kitchen operations during service hours to ensure smooth functioning and timely delivery of dishes

Requirements



Proven supervising experience within a professional kitchen environment Extensive culinary experience with strong skills in food preparation and cooking techniques Demonstrated leadership abilities in team management and staff development Solid understanding of food safety standards and best practices in hygiene management Previous experience working in a restaurant or hospitality setting is essential Knowledge of food production processes and restaurant operations Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively Strong communication skills to coordinate with staff and ensure seamless service delivery Passion for culinary arts with a commitment to delivering exceptional guest experiences

Pay: 26,765.04-48,227.79 per year
