Summary
We are seeking a talented Head Chef to lead our kitchen team at our recently re-opened Gastro Pub on the outskirts of Salisbury. In this role, you will be responsible for creating innovative dishes, maintaining high culinary standards, and ensuring food safety compliance. Your leadership will be key in delivering an outstanding dining experience that aligns with our commitment to excellence.
Responsibilities
Lead and manage the kitchen team to ensure efficient food preparation and service.
Develop and design creative menus that reflect seasonal ingredients and culinary trends.
Ensure all food safety and hygiene standards are strictly adhered to.
Supervise food preparation processes to maintain quality and consistency.
Train and mentor kitchen staff, fostering a collaborative team environment.
Manage inventory, ordering supplies, and controlling food costs effectively.
Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service delivery.
Requirements
Proven experience as a Head Chef or in a similar culinary leadership role.
Strong knowledge of culinary techniques and food safety regulations.
Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team.
