As the Head Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing all kitchen operations, ensuring the highest standards of food quality and presentation, while fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
Responsibilities
Lead and manage the kitchen team, providing guidance and support to ensure efficient food production.
Develop and design innovative menus that reflect current culinary trends while meeting customer preferences.
Oversee food preparation and cooking processes to maintain quality and consistency in all dishes served.
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, maintaining a clean and organised kitchen environment.
Manage inventory, ordering supplies, and controlling costs to maximise profitability.
Train, supervise, and mentor kitchen staff, fostering their professional development within the hospitality industry.
Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service and customer satisfaction.
Monitor food presentation standards to ensure dishes are visually appealing before serving.
Qualifications
Proven experience as a Head Chef or in a similar role within a restaurant or hospitality setting.
Strong culinary skills with a deep understanding of various cooking techniques and cuisines.
Excellent team management abilities, with experience supervising kitchen staff effectively.
Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks efficiently.

Relevant culinary qualifications or certifications are preferred but not essential.
