Responsibilities
Supervise and manage kitchen staff, ensuring effective team management and collaboration.
Oversee food preparation and cooking processes to maintain quality and consistency in all dishes.
Develop and design innovative menus that reflect current culinary trends while catering to customer preferences.
Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain a clean and organised kitchen environment.
Train and mentor kitchen staff in cooking techniques, food presentation, and safety practices.
Monitor inventory levels, order supplies as needed, and manage food costs effectively.
Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service delivery and customer satisfaction.
Maintain high standards of hospitality throughout the dining experience.
Requirements
Proven experience as a Head Chef or in a similar role within the restaurant industry.
Strong supervisory skills with experience in team management.
Extensive culinary experience with a solid background in food preparation and cooking techniques.
Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in the kitchen environment.
Excellent leadership abilities with a passion for mentoring others in the culinary field.
