We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Head Chef to lead our culinary team in delivering exceptional dining experiences. Duties

Manage and supervise the daily operations of the kitchen, ensuring smooth workflow and high-quality food production Develop and implement creative menus that align with the restaurant's concept and customer preferences Oversee food preparation, cooking, and presentation to maintain consistency and excellence Lead, motivate, and manage a team of chefs and kitchen staff, fostering a positive and productive working environment Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain high standards of hygiene throughout the kitchen Monitor inventory levels, order supplies, and control food costs to optimise efficiency Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service and customer satisfaction Train new staff members in food preparation, safety procedures, and service standards Maintain organised kitchen operations while adhering to health & safety policies

Experience

Proven supervising experience within a busy culinary environment, ideally within a restaurant or hospitality setting Extensive food production experience with a strong background in food preparation, cooking, and presentation Demonstrable team management skills with the ability to lead by example and inspire staff In-depth knowledge of food safety standards and regulations Previous experience in restaurant management or as a Head Chef is highly desirable Familiarity with hospitality service practices including serving customers in a professional manner Strong leadership qualities combined with excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
