We are seeking an experienced and passionate Head Chef to lead our kitchen team in delivering exceptional culinary experiences. Duties
Oversee all aspects of kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, and presentation.
Develop and implement seasonal menus that reflect current culinary trends while catering to customer preferences.
Supervise and train kitchen staff, fostering a collaborative team environment to ensure efficient service.
Maintain high standards of food safety and hygiene in compliance with health regulations.
Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed to ensure the kitchen is well-stocked.
Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service and guest satisfaction.
Conduct regular performance evaluations of kitchen staff, providing constructive feedback and guidance.
Manage kitchen budgets effectively while minimising waste and maximising profitability.
Requirements
Proven experience as a Head Chef or in a similar role within the hospitality industry.
Strong supervisory skills with experience in team management and leadership.
Extensive knowledge of food preparation techniques, cooking methods, and culinary trends.
Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices in a restaurant setting.
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Strong communication skills to effectively liaise with both kitchen and front-of-house teams.
A passion for cooking and creating memorable dining experiences for guests.
