Overview

We are seeking a talented and passionate Chef to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in restaurant cooking and food production, with a keen understanding of food safety and kitchen management. As a Chef, you will play a crucial role in creating exceptional dining experiences for our guests while supervising and leading the kitchen staff.

Responsibilities

Prepare and cook high-quality dishes in accordance with the restaurant's menu and standards. Ensure all food safety and hygiene regulation s are adhered to at all times. Supervise kitchen staff, providing guidance and support to ensure efficient operations. Manage food production processes, ensuring consistency in taste and presentation. Collaborate with the front-of-house team to enhance the overall hospitality experience for guests. Assist in menu planning, including seasonal specials and dietary options. Maintain an organised kitchen environment, ensuring cleanliness and proper storage of ingredients. Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed.

Skills

Proven experience as a Chef in a restaurant setting, with strong cooking skills. In-depth knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices. Excellent team management abilities, fostering a positive work environment. Strong leadership skills to motivate and guide kitchen staff effectively. Ability to work under pressure while maintaining high standards of quality. Passion for food production and creativity in menu development. Exceptional communication skills to liaise effectively with both kitchen and front-of-house teams.
