Are you an experienced and passionate Head Chef looking for an exciting project? Our AA Rosette accredited, fresh food pub is looking for a Head Chef. We are seeking a Head Chef to assist in the running of our busy village pub, deliver some great dishes and manage a team. This role is perfect for a seasoned professional looking for a hands-on project that offers both challenges and rewards.

Key Responsibilities:

Team Leadership: Lead, inspire, and manage the kitchen team, ensuring high morale and consistent quality in every dish. Menu Development: Create and develop seasonal menus and specials that incorporate our superb reputation for food, current food trends, delighting our diverse clientele alongside a core menu. Operations: Handle the challenges of the seasonality of the business, from staffing to inventory management, ensuring smooth operations during peak periods. Safety: Take initiative in all aspects of kitchen management, from maintaining high hygiene standards to optimising kitchen efficiency. Collaboration: Work closely with management to ensure the pub runs seamlessly, to ensure unrivalled hospitality.

Requirements:

Proven experience as a Head Chef or in a similar leadership role within a pub environment. Strong skills in team management, menu development, and operational efficiency. Ability to work independently and lead by example. A passion for delivering superb food and an outstanding hospitality experiences.
