We are seeking an experienced and passionate Head Chef to lead our culinary team in delivering exceptional dining experiences. Duties
Lead and supervise the kitchen team, including chefs and kitchen assistants, to ensure efficient operations
Develop innovative menus that align with the restaurant's concept and customer preferences
Oversee food preparation and cooking processes to guarantee consistency, quality, and presentation standards are met
Manage food production, including ordering supplies, stock control, and minimising waste
Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain high standards of hygiene across all kitchen areas
Train and mentor staff to enhance their culinary skills and promote professional development
Coordinate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service delivery
Monitor kitchen operations during service hours to uphold efficiency and customer satisfaction
Maintain a positive team environment through effective leadership and communication
Experience
Proven supervising experience within a professional kitchen environment, preferably in a restaurant or hospitality setting
Extensive culinary experience with a strong background in food preparation, cooking, and food presentation
Demonstrable team management skills with the ability to motivate and lead diverse groups of staff
Knowledge of food safety standards and best practices in hygiene management
Experience in menu development, food production, and managing kitchen operations under pressure
Familiarity with restaurant service procedures and customer service excellence is desirable
Previous hospitality experience that demonstrates leadership qualities and organisational skills
