Overview

This is a fully renovated 170 cover restaurant that we are very excited about reopening.
We are seeking a talented and passionate Head Chef to lead our kitchen team in delivering exceptional culinary experiences. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in food production and kitchen management, with a flair for creativity and a commitment to food safety and quality. As the Head Chef, you will play a pivotal role in menu development, staff training, and maintaining high standards of hospitality within our establishment.

Duties

Oversee all aspects of kitchen operations, ensuring efficient food preparation and presentation. Develop innovative menus that reflect seasonal ingredients and customer preferences. Supervise and train kitchen staff, fostering a collaborative and motivated team environment. Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain high standards of cleanliness. Manage inventory, ordering supplies, and minimising waste to optimise kitchen resources. Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service and customer satisfaction. Monitor food quality and consistency, making adjustments as necessary to meet standards. Handle any kitchen-related issues or emergencies with professionalism and efficiency.

Experience

Proven experience as a Head Chef or in a similar leadership role within the restaurant industry. Strong culinary skills with extensive knowledge of food preparation techniques and cooking methods. Demonstrated ability to manage a team effectively, providing guidance and support as needed. Familiarity with food safety standards and best practices in hospitality. Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. A passion for cooking and an eagerness to stay updated on culinary trends.
