Job Description

We are looking for a friendly and enthusiastic chef to join the team in our farm shop cafe. You could be joining us at an exciting time leading into the spring with our new garden room which will increase our already busy work load.

The menu, which you will be responsible for developing along with seasonal specials, features high quality, and simple dishes using locally sourced ingredients so you must have sound knowledge and experience of using fresh ingredients and cooking from scratch.

We bake almost everything fresh on site so a good knowledge of cake making would be beneficial but not a necessity.

You must have experience in running all aspects of the kitchen including stock rotation, keeping track with suppliers, health and safety records and conforming with our own legal requirements.

This role offers a great work life balance with straight daytime shifts, apart from Fridays during the summer when we do our wood fired pizza evenings.

We are open all weekends and bank holidays. We close every year Christmas eve for 2 weeks.
