Duties

Prepare and cook a diverse range of dishes to meet menu specifications and guest expectations. Oversee daily kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, and presentation. Supervise and mentor kitchen staff, ensuring adherence to health and safety regulations. Manage inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed. Collaborate with the restaurant management team to develop new menu items and seasonal offerings. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, ensuring all equipment is in good working order. Provide leadership in training new staff members on cooking techniques and kitchen procedures. Assist in maintaining high standards of hospitality throughout the dining experience.

Experience

Proven experience as a Chef or in a similar role within the hospitality industry. Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques and culinary skills. Demonstrated ability to manage a team effectively, fostering teamwork and collaboration. Excellent organisational skills with an eye for detail in food presentation. Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining quality standards. Passion for culinary arts and commitment to delivering exceptional dining experiences.
