About the Role
As Head Chef, you'll take the lead on delivering exceptional tapas-style dishes while driving innovation, efficiency and high standards across all areas of the kitchen.
Key Responsibilities
Lead, inspire and develop the kitchen brigade to deliver consistently high-quality dishes.
Oversee all kitchen operations, including menu development, food costing, stock control and hygiene compliance.
Create and roll out seasonal menus showcasing authentic Spanish Mediterranean flavours.
Support catering and event menu development for group dining and special occasions.
Identify opportunities to grow revenue, including menu concepts for quieter trading periods.
Introduce and develop a high-quality Sunday roast offering, ensuring it complements our brand while driving additional revenue opportunities.
Manage ordering, supplier relationships and stock rotation to maximise efficiency and minimise waste.
Oversee daily food preparation and service for lunch and dinner.
Ensure every dish meets the highest standards of presentation and flavour.
Work closely with front-of-house management to ensure seamless service and exceptional customer experience.
Mentor and motivate the team, fostering a culture of growth, creativity and professionalism.
Requirements
Minimum 3 years' experience as a Head Chef or Senior Sous in a busy, high-performing kitchen.
Strong understanding and passion for food.
Excellent leadership, communication and organisational skills.
Confident in managing budgets, GP performance and cost control.
High levels of cleanliness, attention to detail and food safety knowledge.
Creative, resilient and adaptable, with a strong growth mindset.
Relevant food hygiene and safety certifications.
