Your Role as Head Dental Nurse

You'll lead our nursing team with confidence, compassion, and professionalism, ensuring every patient visit runs seamlessly and team members feel supported to do their best work.

Key Responsibilities

Clinical & Leadership

Lead by example in chairside support and infection control excellence Oversee CQC compliance, sterilisation, and decontamination procedures Champion clinical governance and continuous improvement

Team & Operations

Manage, mentor, and develop the dental nursing team Coordinate rotas and ensure smooth day-to-day operations Oversee stock control, equipment maintenance, and ordering Support the Practice Manager in recruitment and process optimisation

Patient Care

Deliver a gold-standard patient experience, warm, reassuring, and professional. Provide oral health education and guidance to promote long-term well-being

What We're Looking For

Active GDC Registration

Minimum 2 years' experience

as a qualified Dental Nurse Proven

leadership or senior nursing experience

Sound knowledge of

CQC compliance & clinical governance

Exceptional

communication, organisation, and mentoring skills

A

positive, proactive leader

with a passion for patient care and teamwork
