Dental Receptionist
- someone who can lead from the front, think like a Treatment Coordinator (TCO), social media and help convert enquiries into committed patients.
About the Role:
This role is much more than traditional reception. You'll be based at the front desk alongside a full-time receptionist, but your focus will be on
owning the patient journey

following up with leads
, and
driving treatment bookings
through excellent communication, ethical persuasion, and strategic follow-through.

Key Responsibilities:
Greet patients warmly and ensure a premium front-of-house experience
Follow up with outstanding consultations and incomplete treatment plans
Guide patients from enquiry to booking with confidence and professionalism
Use TCO-style communication to support treatment acceptance ethically
Track and manage leads, follow-ups, and case progress
Support digital marketing efforts (Instagram, Google, email) to attract and engage new patients creating ideas and content
Help organise open days, email campaigns, and referral incentives
Work closely with clinicians to stay informed on treatment plans and patient needs
Support and mentor the reception team to deliver an excellent and consistent service
Who This Role is Ideal For:
A highly experienced dental receptionist or treatment coordinator (TCO)
Someone who is confident in speaking to patients about treatment and cost
Excellent at following up - persuasive but warm, not pushy
Results-driven and motivated by helping patients take action on their oral health
Organised, proactive, and comfortable managing systems and leads
Someone with an eye for marketing and content, or happy to learn and get involved
Familiar with SOE/Exact, CRM systems, or tracking tools is a plus
Bonus (but not essential):
Experience in private dentistry
Confident using platforms like Instagram, Canva, Meta Business Suite, or Mailchimp
Interest in digital marketing and patient engagement strategies
