Overview


We are seeking a competent and professional Head Doorman and Door Supervisors to join our rapidly expanding security team in Somerset for a new late night venue which is looking to open 31/10/25. The ideal candidates will play a crucial role in maintaining a safe and secure environment for both staff and customers. This position requires a keen eye for detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to respond effectively to various situations. As a Door Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing entry points, monitoring activities, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations.

Duties



Head Doorman- Good leadership skills, good communication skills, Confident dealing with licensing or police visits, Lead and manage a team of Door Supervisors, be responsible for all equipment on site, make sure all staff incident reports are documented correctly. Monitor and control access to the premises, ensuring only authorised individuals enter. Conduct regular surveillance of the area using CCTV systems to detect any suspicious behaviour. Implement loss prevention strategies to minimise theft and damage to property. Respond promptly to incidents or emergencies, providing first aid when necessary. Maintain a visible presence to deter potential disturbances and ensure the safety of all staff and customers. Liaise with law enforcement and emergency services as and when required. Prepare incident reports and document any unusual occurrences during shifts. Assist in training new security personnel on company protocols and procedures.

Requirements



Head Doorman position requires at least 3 years experience in a Door Supervisor role. Previous experience in a security role is preferred but not essential. Desired: Military/Door Supervision experience. Strong knowledge of physical prevention techniques and surveillance methods. Excellent observational skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective interaction with staff and patrons. Presentable and smartly kept Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as required.
