We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Door Person to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of our premises while providing excellent customer service to guests and visitors. This role requires a proactive approach to surveillance and loss prevention, as well as the ability to respond effectively in emergency situations.
Responsibilities
Monitor entry and exit points to ensure the safety of all individuals on the premises.
Conduct regular patrols of the property to deter and detect any suspicious activity.
Operate and monitor CCTV systems to maintain oversight of the facility.
Assist in loss prevention efforts by identifying potential theft or security breaches.
Greet guests and visitors warmly, providing assistance as needed while maintaining a professional demeanour.
Respond promptly to incidents or emergencies, administering first aid when necessary until further help arrives.
Maintain accurate records of daily activities, incidents, and any unusual occurrences.
Collaborate with security personnel and local authorities when required.
Experience
Previous experience in a Head security role
Familiarity with surveillance systems, including CCTV operation, is advantageous.
Knowledge of loss prevention strategies will be beneficial.
Certification in first aid is highly desirable.
Strong observational skills and attention to detail are essential for this role.
