About the Role:
NewAge Football Academy is growing, and we're looking for motivated, reliable football coaches to deliver high-quality small-group, large-group and team training sessions.
This is an opportunity to coach ambitious young players in an academy-style environment - with the flexibility to set your own coaching load, earn competitively, and be part of a forward-thinking training programme.
What You'll Be Doing:
Deliver small-group, large-group and team training sessions
Support other coaches where needed to ensure smooth, high-quality sessions
Contribute to the design of our coaching programme by helping plan themes, drills, and session structures
Provide player feedback to parents, supporting development both on and off the pitch
Create a positive, challenging, and fun environment for players
Communicate effectively with players and parents
Represent NewAge Football Academy's professional standards both on and off the pitch
Hours & Pay:
20/hour for small-group (2+ players) sessions
25/hour for large-group (8+ players) sessions
30/hour for team sessions
Hours are flexible and uncapped - the more sessions you take, the more you earn
Most sessions run on weekday evenings and weekends, so availability during these times is essential
Coaching Pathway at NewAge:
We believe in developing our coaches as much as our players. At NewAge, you'll have the chance to progress along a clear pathway:
Lead Coach
Head Coach
Location Manager
Progression through this pathway can bring increased pay, responsibility, and long-term opportunities - from helping with academy operations to mentoring other coaches, and even moving into part-time or full-time management roles as the academy grows.
You'll Be a Great Fit If You...
Have experience coaching or working with young footballers
Are confident, enthusiastic, and passionate about player development
Are reliable, punctual, and organised
Can adapt sessions to suit different ages and ability levels
Hold (or are working towards) at least a Level 1.3 SFA coaching qualification (ideal but not essential)
What You'll Get from Us:
Competitive pay with uncapped earning potential
Clear progression pathway with long-term opportunities
Ongoing support, mentoring, and session frameworks to help you succeed
Access to academy resources, equipment, and facilities
The chance to grow with a new and ambitious football academy, with opportunities to shape its future direction.
