Overview

We are seeking a passionate and skilled Grill Chef for Steak and Grill to join our dynamic culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food preparation and production, with a commitment to maintaining high standards of food safety and quality. As a Chef, you will play a pivotal role in creating exceptional dining experiences while leading and managing kitchen operations effectively. Candidate must have the experience of at least 3-5 years.

Duties

Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to established recipes and standards. Ensure all food safety regulations are adhered to, maintaining a clean and organised kitchen environment. Collaborate with the kitchen team to plan menus that reflect seasonal ingredients and customer preferences. Manage inventory, including ordering supplies and minimising waste. Train and mentor junior kitchen staff, fostering a collaborative team environment. Monitor food presentation and quality to ensure consistency and excellence in every dish served. Assist in the development of new recipes and menu items that align with the restaurant's vision. Maintain equipment and kitchen tools, ensuring they are in good working order.

Experience

Proven experience as a Steak Chef for the hospitality industry. Strong knowledge of culinary techniques, food preparation, and kitchen management. Familiarity with food safety standards and regulations is essential. Excellent team management skills, with the ability to motivate and lead a diverse team. A passion for cooking and creativity in developing new dishes. Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
