Head Housekeeper
to lead our housekeeping team at
Connaught Care
--a luxury, all-inclusive care home group where every cushion, corridor, and carefully folded towel speaks volumes about the care we provide.
With six beautifully designed homes already open and six more in development, Connaught is redefining what care looks and feels like. Our residents don't just live in our homes--they belong in them. And your role is to make sure every space reflects that sense of belonging, comfort, and quiet dignity.

What You'll Be Doing:
Lead, train and motivate the housekeeping team to maintain the highest standards of cleanliness, presentation, and hygiene
Ensure all bedrooms, communal areas, and facilities reflect a five-star standard of care and hospitality
Manage laundry services with care and precision, ensuring resident garments are handled respectfully and returned promptly
Conduct regular audits and quality checks to ensure standards are consistently met and exceeded
Maintain COSHH, infection control and health & safety compliance across all housekeeping operations
Work closely with the General Manager, all Heads of Departments and care staff to support a seamless resident experience
Build warm, trusting relationships with residents--understanding their preferences and personal touches

What You'll Bring:
Previous experience in housekeeping leadership--ideally in a care, hotel, or hospitality setting
A keen eye for detail and a passion for making environments feel calm, clean and welcoming
The ability to lead by example, motivate your team, and take pride in every space you oversee
Strong organisational skills and a proactive, can-do mindset
A genuine belief that dignity lives in the details--fresh sheets, folded towels, polished mirrors, and a home that always feels ready for guests
