Steps Together Rehab are seeking experienced Cleaning and Housekeeping lead to support and drive forward excellent client accommodation and an environment that supports high quality treatment facilities for the treatment of private clients experiencing addiction to drugs, alcohol or allied addictions in residential treatment facility that accommodates a maximum of 15 residents.

The successful candidate will be experienced in housekeeping and cleaning for a residential care facility, and the company is willing to accept applications from key individuals experienced in the management and delivery of hotel accommodation related housekeeping with a good attention to detail and high standards of hygiene and customer accommodation satisfaction levels.

Working closely with members of the multidisciplinary treatment and therapy team, the successful candidates will be instrumental in the set up and delivery of an excellent housekeeping and support service, this role will include supervisions of other members of the house keeping team.

The successful candidates will be fully trained, supported and inducted through the companies mandatory training programme.

The ideal candidate will posses a strong background in residential or hotel services and must be:

Experienced in the delivery of housekeeping/cleaning, operating to ensure that high standards of accommodation and cleanliness are maintained



Capable of delivering a quality housekeeping service that supports excellent infection control, customer satisfaction and high levels of cleanliness Able to support the company to achieve excellent standards that remain in line with the UK's Health & Safety Act Guidance, the control of infectious disease and Department of Environmental Health. This includes the delivery and monitoring of water based infection and the monitoring and application of cleaning schedules that reduce risk of water borne infection from Legionella or similar water borne bacterium under the direction of the Head Housekeeper. Able to work effectively as part of a team and willing the always go the extra mile for colleagues, clients and other stakeholders Have a good understanding of infection control practices and able to ensure that your delivery supports excellent hygiene and infection control at all times Capable of excellent record keeping and principles of good communication, client confidentiality and Data Protection rules Monitor, report and ensure that routine maintenance is maintained to ensure that the physical environment secures quality for our clients and safeguards the overall standard of premises Possess a genuine desire to support people experiencing difficulty with addictions; operating in a non-judgemental, passionate and committed manner at all times.
Experience of working in an addiction setting is not essential, full training will be provided however, the company expects the successful post holders to have operated in a residential, health or care facility and capable of working closely with colleagues to ensure excellent levels of care practice, quality accommodation and delivery at all times.
