Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Head Housekeeper to lead our housekeeping team in maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and organisation within our establishment

. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in hospitality, particularly within the hotel sector, and demonstrate exceptional leadership skills. As Head Housekeeper, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the housekeeping department, ensuring that all areas are impeccably presented for our guests.

Responsibilities

Supervise and coordinate the activities of the housekeeping staff to ensure efficient operation. Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house facilities to maintain cleanliness standards. Develop and implement cleaning schedules and procedures to optimise productivity. Train, mentor, and evaluate housekeeping staff to enhance performance and service quality. Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring adequate stock levels are maintained. Address guest inquiries and complaints promptly to ensure satisfaction. Collaborate with other departments to support overall hotel operations. Maintain records related to housekeeping activities, including staff attendance and maintenance requests.

Qualifications

Proven experience in a supervisory role within a housekeeping department, preferably in a hotel environment. Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques, products, and equipment used in the hospitality industry. Excellent organisational skills with a keen attention to detail. Ability to lead a team effectively while fostering a positive work environment. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written. Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays as required. A passion for providing exceptional guest service in a hospitality setting.
