We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Head Housekeeper to oversee the housekeeping department within our esteemed establishment. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in hospitality and hotel management, ensuring that our guests experience a clean, comfortable, and welcoming environment. As the Head Housekeeper, you will lead a team of housekeepers, manage daily operations, and uphold the highest standards of cleanliness and service.
Responsibilities
Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of the housekeeping team to ensure efficient operations.
Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house facilities to maintain cleanliness standards.
Develop and implement cleaning schedules and procedures to optimise workflow.
Train, mentor, and evaluate housekeeping staff to enhance their skills and performance.
Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring adequate stock levels are maintained.
Address guest inquiries or complaints regarding housekeeping services promptly and professionally.
Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless service delivery for guests.
Maintain health and safety standards in accordance with company policies.
Manage in house laundry, washing, ironing and drying.
Requirements
Proven experience in a housekeeping role within the hospitality or hotel industry is essential.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively.
Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining high standards of service.
Flexibility to work various shifts as required by the operational needs of the establishment.
