We're on the lookout for a dedicated and detail-oriented Head Housekeeper to lead our fantastic team at Wilton Lodge in Hull!

Pay & Hours:


13.83 per hour 35 hours per week (flexible) Working on a 7 day rota with alternate weekends.

The Role:


Oversee daily and deep cleaning of communal areas and residents' rooms Manage a full laundry service for both personal and domestic needs Lead on infection control and maintain up-to-date COSHH records Supervise and support housekeeping and laundry staff, including rotas, 1:1s, and inductions Monitor stock levels and ensure equipment is maintained Promote a person-centred approach, respecting residents' privacy and encouraging independence Build positive relationships with residents, families, and external agencies.

About you:


Working towards or holds a relevant NVQ in Basic Food Hygiene and an NVQ or relevant in Cleaning. Previous experience of Domestic work & leading a team. Able to interact with residents professionally and respectfully Able to organise and manage workloads and prioritise duties.

Wilton Lodge is a 49-bed care home providing specialist residential care services for older adults and those living with dementia. Our home features The Woodford Suite on the first floor, an Enhanced Care Community designed to offer a comfortable and supportive environment for our residents. Located just a short stroll from East Park, residents and family members can enjoy the lovely grounds, visit the small animal sanctuary, or participate in the various attractions held throughout the year.





Wilton Lodge is a two-storey building that has undergone significant refurbishment in recent years. Access to the first floor is facilitated by a lift, and there is ample parking available adjacent to the property, along with beautiful enclosed gardens at both the front and rear of the home.





The HICA Group is a 'Not for Profit' organisation providing a range of care services to elderly clients and people with learning difficulties, across a range of services, including our care homes, residential settings and in the community.

The successful candidate will be required to undertake an Enhanced DBS check.
