Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Housekeeper to lead our housekeeping team in maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and organisation within our establishment. The ideal candidate will possess hotel experience. This role requires excellent leadership skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to providing exceptional service. this role is a hands on position and you will be cleaning your share of bedrooms on a daily basis.

Responsibilities

Oversee the daily operations of the housekeeping department, ensuring all tasks are completed efficiently and to a high standard. cleaning rooms and public areas Manage and train housekeeping staff, providing guidance and support to foster a positive team environment. Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms and public areas to ensure cleanliness and adherence to established standards. Develop and implement cleaning schedules, ensuring adequate staffing levels for peak times. Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, placing orders as necessary to ensure the team is well-equipped. Address any guest complaints or issues promptly, striving for complete satisfaction. Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless service delivery throughout the hotel.

Skills

Proven experience in a housekeeping management role within the hospitality or hotel industry. Strong leadership abilities with excellent interpersonal skills to motivate and manage a diverse team. Exceptional attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards. Ability to work under pressure while managing multiple tasks effectively. Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise workloads efficiently. Knowledge of cleaning products, techniques, and health and safety regulations relevant to the hospitality industry.
